Silica-sand wash-water procurement should specify the clarification duty and the quality requirements of the reuse destination. Settling fines successfully does not prove that every dissolved constituent or polymer carryover is acceptable for the production process. Qualify the candidate with the actual circuit water.
Identify fines and treatment sequence
Record the feed point, particle information, solids concentration and relevant washing or upstream chemical steps. Include the normal recycled-water condition. A clean silica suspension prepared solely for a demonstration may not represent the material that the clarifier receives. Explain whether clay-rich or other difficult feed periods occur. The anionic family should be screened on that evidence rather than assigned from the product name alone.
Compare useful separation results
Test a dose range with consistent solution preparation, mixing and timing. Record overflow fines, settling and final sediment behaviour. Use the solids and water selection guide to organize the candidate differences. Keep the current product as an identifiable reference where available. An unpaired comparison on different daily feed cannot show that a new supplier code is actually superior.
Confirm water-reuse requirements
Ask the responsible production team which recovered-water properties constrain its reuse. Solids clarity is one measure, not a complete suitability declaration. Record downstream process sensitivity and the risk of unstable separation or carryover. Where a filter follows clarification, include its result. The clarification product path helps connect a bench screen with residence, overflow and blanket behaviour.
Specify the scope of an approved supply
Preserve tested water and feed limits with the candidate identity, preparation and dose range. Include the reuse endpoint that the plant actually verified. A purchasing decision should not promise that the same grade suits every silica product or cleaning stream. Request documents, packaging and delivery scope for the selected candidate, and review application approval when feed chemistry or the reuse destination changes materially.
Record the purchase decision
Complete the following checks with actual measurements, observations or an agreed document reference. Keep an untested condition visible as a limitation rather than assuming equivalence. The candidate code, sample identity and trial method must remain attached to the decision so purchasing and operations approve the same product and duty.
| Check | Evidence | Order decision |
|---|---|---|
| Circuit sample | Fines and upstream-treatment record | Candidate is screened on the actual wash stream |
| Reuse endpoint | Plant-defined water properties | Clarity is not overstated as universal suitability |
| Order scope | Tested range, identity and preparation | Repeat supply remains tied to the qualified duty |
Send a useful sample and quotation enquiry
Send wash-water origin, solids and clay information, upstream treatment and recycled-water condition. Include the clarifier, downstream solids route and production reuse requirements. Identify which water properties were measured and which remain outside the polymer trial.
Include quantity, packaging preference and destination separately from the technical approval. Use the anionic PAM sample worksheet to define the candidate screen and confirm quality documents and delivered supply scope for the selected identity. Gongyi Xinqi Polymer Co., Ltd. can review the requirements. Availability, commercial terms and application suitability require confirmation; a process name does not establish a universal dose or guaranteed operating result.
Request a focused sample review
Send solids, water, separator and purchasing requirements for this duty.
